King Arthur's Legend of the Round Table
Ifor is the only son to a minor landed knight near a small forested village in Cambria. The Iorwerth family consisting of Ifor’s mother, father, and two younger sisters are still living in Cambria even as Ifor has left home to make a name for himself and seek his own destiny. Ifor as a child was sent off to squire for one of his father’s good friends, and Ifor was educated well during this time. His combat skills were sufficient when it came to using a blade, though Ifor was a natural with the Longbow, and when he came of age he continued to specialize with the Longbow and joined the Sugales Longbow School. Ifor is also educated in the ways of the court like any knight should be. And while most of his fellow Knights look down on Ifor for his choice of weapon and tactics, it doesn’t seem to phase Ifor.
Ifor was rather inexperienced when it came to real combat experience and it perhaps showed a bit as he answered his Kings Call for knights and soldiers to fight back against the invaders. At The Battle of Netley Marsh Ifor did quite well felling a few enemies, though disgracefully his actions to provide cover for his fellow comrades fleeing the field led to Ifor being captured, and even more disgracefully he was ransomed back to Countess, and from that point till current events, Ifor has done everything in his power to repay such a debt through service.
